Veronica Yvette Greenfield (née Bennett) / Ronnie Spector has died. (August 10, 1943 – January 12, 2022)

I typed this on June 21, 2019 in a previous post -- https://samsarictravelling.blogspot.com/2019/06/3152-wisdom-and-knowledge-series-post-3.html :

Ronnie Spector was a new choice to put on this timeline, and she is still alive up to this moment on June 21, 2019 possibly (I don't have any supernatural power to see what is happening anywhere else in existence right now at this very moment; I can only get information like that through other's reports, but which are, though, delayed reports (like the internet), not right at this very moment).

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

I just found out today January 20, 2022, a few hours ago, through a regular search for Ronnie Spector in the 'News' section of a google search, that Ronnie Spector died. It was not the first news listing, while the first few news listings did not have any word like 'died', so I thought the news link was a fake news link. But I realized eventually it was not fake news. I checked the twitter account where the family's post about it redirected me to Ronnie Spector's official site for their post about it:

Family Statement on the Passing of Ronnie Spector:

Our beloved earth angel, Ronnie, peacefully left this world today after a brief battle with cancer. She was with family and in the arms of her husband, Jonathan.

Ronnie lived her life with a twinkle in her eye, a spunky attitude, a wicked sense of humor and a smile on her face.  She was filled with love and gratitude.

Her joyful sound, playful nature and magical presence will live on in all who knew, heard or saw her.

In lieu of flowers, Ronnie requested that donations be made to your local women’s shelter or to the American Indian College Fund.

A celebration of Ronnie’s life and music will be announced in the future.

The family respectfully asks for privacy at this time.

I usually would find out news about the deaths of persons I only knew from internet/media (celebrities, for example; I never met Ronnie Spector in person, but have posted to her facebook in the past more than once) much later after their deaths, because I would not have internet at home, and would go to a free internet place (like the public library) to do my internet stuff (and that's when I do not take a leave from the internet). But for about the last year I have been paying for my internet so have always had easy access to it at home, so being up to date on news on celebrities is more frequent. Although 8 days after Ronnie Spector passed away I now know about, it is still far quicker than me knowing of a monk named Bhikkhu Samahita whose passing I found out about a year after, or of the singer Kenny Rogers who I found out passed away maybe months or even about a year after the fact (because of the same "only know through the internet", no internet connection at home, and taking leaves from the internet reasons).

May you be well, may you be happy, Ronnie Spector.
